My name is Daniel Davis.  I'm the founder, designer and owner of MAGNUS Canis + Co.

After working in NYC for 15 years as Head Designer for globally recognized fashion brands like ARMANI EXCHANGE, Calvin Klein, and John Varvatos, and Banana Republic, I took a leap of faith, moved to Los Angeles, and started MAGNUS Canis + Co.

Our products are built around the French Bulldog anatomy. They are practical, functional, stylish, and unique in that every cut, line, and detail is designed for the Frenchies' body types and with their needs in mind first.

French Bulldogs are my Spirit Animal in every way but rest assured that our products will fit many other breeds, including most of the barrel-chested breeds that you love!

MAGNUS Canis + Co. is a brand built for ALL the GREAT Frenchies in your life...and some of their lucky dog friends.

I created MAGNUS Canis because I wanted dog-wear and accessories that were REBELLIOUS, just like their furry little wearers. Products that had an elevated, chic design aesthetic.  Accessories that were made well and had sustainability, eco-responsibility, and were cruelty-free at their core.

And products that made the lives of the Frenchie parents easier with their use. 

I wanted harnesses and accessories that made my Frenchies, Magnus and Alatar, not only look like a million bucks but FEEL like a million bucks when we went on walks.  A product that was focusing on quality, form, and function.  Something that improved our lives, was easy to put on and take off, and a product that was built to last more than a few months.

MAGNUS Canis + Co's first signature harness, the TUGGER, was designed and built on Magnus' body using cruelty-free, vegan leather.  Our signature harnesses are great for Frenchies but also fit other barrel-chested breeds such as Pugs and Corgis to name a few.

We now carry several different styles of harnesses as well as matching leashes and collars.  Not only are these products stylish, they are practical and designed to give safety on your walks.  They are also the easiest harnesses and collars to use on the market because of the German technology magnetic buckle system we use.
